how to reduce the size of your legs using photo shop 7.0?

Posted by admin on October 25th, 2009 and filed under photo shop 7.0 | 4 Comments »

thank you for getting back to me with regards the lighting exposure.
i have another problem my friend would like her legs to look thinner and we have no idea how to do this… could some one explain? thank you very very much (again using photoshop 7.0) :-) ray s

one way is to select the legs and use the free transform tool to adjust their shape, annother way would be to use the clone stamp to move everything inward. The simplest way may be to resize the picture, making you look taller (and hence thinner) If you send me the photo,i’ll do it for you ;-)

Which is the best way to learn Adobe Illustrator, on line tutorials or actually taking a class?

Posted by admin on October 25th, 2009 and filed under learn illustrator | 2 Comments »

I was wondering how difficult it would be to teach myself?

Take advise from a professional, take a course there are things you need to know about setting up files for print, what the settings are, layouts, creating everything and anything.
there are a lot of hidden features.

I see simple mistakes everywhere I look which could have been easily avoided.

If you don’t know what a ppd is you may end up paying for it later.

Saying all that the best way to get really good at illustrator is to see what each thing does and think about how you can apply it to your art.

The best way to get fast is to learn the keyboard short cuts use you right hand for the mouse and your left on the keyboard. use all of them not just the ones in the file menus.
ie. press "v" to get the select tool "a" to get the direct select tool "m" for a square and so on.
You can’t remember all at once get good at a few then add a few more. trust me you will use them a lot and pick it up quick.

Adobe Illustrator vector tutorials?

Posted by admin on October 25th, 2009 and filed under illustrator tutorials | 3 Comments »

I wanted to learn vectoring through Illustrator cs2.
But I can’t get even a half decent tutorial I don’t like to use Photoshop for it because ill probably end up making vexels.
anyone know where can I get them? I got quite a knowledge with the program itself like the pen tool, ink and the like. im looking for the ones that shows how you really do it while vectoring from a photo in Illustrator.

Your best bet is to use Corel Graphic Suite or if you have Photo-shop, then convert your work or save it as vector.
Simple.
As a Professional Graphic Artist, I word with Adobe InDesign since I produce magazines and Corel PhotoPaint which will save you a lot of headaches. Its better than Phtoshop, cheaper, and faster and NOT A MEMORY HUGGER

What do you think graphic design will be like in the future?
Like..how do you think it will improve?

Humm.. that’s a good question..
I hope it will be more natural, like, fitting in more with the surroundings. People like that I guess. :) It would be lovely.
