adobe illustrator tutorials for rendering architecture?

Posted by admin on September 23rd, 2009 and filed under illustrator tutorials | 4 Comments »

Just wondered where there was a site which I could learn to realistically render architecture and architectural spaces ( interiors and such) I am an architecture major and am working on my portfolio but Have not yet taken the computer classes. Any good tutorials?

I believe you’d be more along the lines of AutoCAD software when it comes to architecture and drafting, but I’m not too sure.

Just google AutoCAD tutorials or illustrator tutorials….and if you have itunes, there’s a podcast called Gradient Mesh that has some good beginner and intermediate Illustrator tutorials…

But, to get to started

AutoCAD:

and Illustrator:

Good luck, and have fun with them!

On ImageReady, How Can I Save an Animation Without it Becoming Pixelly?

Posted by admin on September 22nd, 2009 and filed under imageready | 1 Comment »

When I grab a bunch of photos and stick em in imageready as an animation, I save it and the result becomes pixelly :S (GIF. File)
I was wondering if there was a way where I could keep the original picture quality?

Thanks a bunch xx.

Animations in ImageReady are GIF files. They cannot be JPGs.. There will be some compromise in quality because GIFs don’t handle smooth graduations of colour as well as JPGs. Try increasing the number of colours in the GIF colour table. (this will mean it will not compress to as small a size.)

How do I open a photo-shop picture on another computer?

Posted by admin on September 18th, 2009 and filed under photo shop help | 4 Comments »

I created a photo-shop document that I need to send to another computer that does not have photo-shop. I cannot print it because my printer is out of ink, so sending it is my only option. I want to have all of the layers show up together as one image. Is there any way to transfer it to another application so that it can be received and printed on the computer without photo-shop?

Hi from France ♫

With the first computer attach your document in an email, send it at your self ( other mail box), then you store it in the second computer ( via the mail), then print it with the 2 nd computer…
I hope I well explain you, my english is little, sorry !

Have a nice day,

Cat.

What is the best graphic design software to use in learning graphic design?

Posted by admin on September 17th, 2009 and filed under graphic design | 3 Comments »

I am interested in learning more about graphic design. What is the best design software to learn?

All the Adobe software products……..but Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator are the two biggest ones you’ll need to get familiar with. If you’re planning on going to school for graphic design, you’ll need to get that software anyway, and plus you’ll have an edge over all the other students if you already know a little bit about the programs.
